Mrs. K. Fessenden Rites on Sunday
Mrs. Kate E. Fessenden, a resident of Millport for forty eight years, died at the Mountain Clinic, Olean, Thursday (August 31, 1950). She was born in East Hebron November 10, 1881, the daughter of John and Clariaisa Boothe Schollard. She was married to Bert Fessenden, January 30, 1902. He died in December, 1949.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Barnes, Millport; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Schuttenhauer, Coudersport; a granddaughter, Mrs. Cleo Harris, Millport and a great granddaughter, Nancy Harris; several nieces and nephews. The body has been removed to the McLaughlin Home for Funerals, Shinglehouse, where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon (September 3, 1950) at two o'clock. The Rev. Paul Whitcomb, of the Millport EUB Church will officiate. Burial will be in Sharon Center Cemetery.
