DEATH TAKES SON
Mr. and Mrs. John Schollard, of East Hebron, were called to Elmira Monday by the death of their son, Tom Schollard, which occurred that morning in the hospital in that city. Mr. Schollard had submitted to an operation three weeks before and had gone to his home, but was taken worse and was brought back to the hospital where he died the next day. He was born in East Hebron, April 8, 1879, and was married to Miss Alida Rachford. They have one daughter Allyne.
Besides the parents, one brother and two sisters survive, High Schollard, of Rixford; Mrs. Kate Fessenden, of Millport, and Mrs. Margaret Schuppenheaur, of Berwyn, Ill. Burial was made in Elmira.

Thomas E. Schollard, 49, of 361 Maxwell Place, a member of the firm Shive & Schollard, agents for the Durant automobile at East Church Street and Railroad Avenue, died this morning at 6 o'clock. He is survived by his widow, a daughter Allyn of Hornell; a stepson, Thomas J. Rachford of Elmira; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Schollard of Coundersport, PA; Mrs. Carl Schuppenharer of Chicago; a brother, Hugh Schollard of Rixford, PA. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose. The remains repose in the Smith and Fudge Funeral Home, Elmira.
